Anitha is 20 years old and lives in the village of D.Perumal Palayam, a village in southern part of India. Her husband Paramanantham works for daily wages.

Anitha joined the Women's Transformation Group (WTG) and started to save amount in the common fund. The savings brought her a sense of worth and independence. With much confidence she availed a micro loan from IGL and invested the amount cloth business. Now she hopes that her income will double up and that she will be economically sustained. In her own words, she expressed her confidence and said, "My dream to make economic decisions within my family is at hand".
